SUSAN G. KOMEN HAW All TO DONATE SCARVES TO WOMEN’S COMMUNITY CORRECTIONAL CENTER FOR MASKS

With the threat of COVID-19 community spread still evident, Susan G. Komen Hawaii will donate scarves to the Women’s Community Correctional Center. These scarves will be used to make masks for the center’s population. “We at Komen have the philosophy that where you live shouldn’t determine your ability to get the best possible health care,” said Rolanda Morgan, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen Hawaii. Her organization has done other health, wellness and educational events at the center – including a Race for the Cure in their yard – as part of their community outreach program. On hearing WCCC had yet to receive an allotment of masks for their population, Susan G. Komen Hawaii stepped in with their donation.
